We have not yet tested any USB to Serial adapters to see if they will work. We hope to have this accomplished in the future.
Can I use Chipper Check II to do the same alignments?
Chipper Check can be used for all DLP models prior to the introduction of the ATC35x chassis. You need ChipperCheck Lite to connect to any model that uses the ATC35x. Chipper Check is now considered an Archived Product and Will Not be updated for new DLP products.

Yes. The files are compatible and may be copied over to the ChipperCheck Lite directory. See the Help file in ChipperCheck Lite for instructions.
How will you handle ChipperCheck Lite Updates?
If the ChipperCheck Lite program code is updated then we will release a new installation executable just as we do with Chipper Check II. If new models are added you will be able to download a new Chassis.mdb database that ChipperCheck Lite uses for Model difference options. This will be made available on TSN.
Do I need both Chipper Check II and ChipperCheck Lite?
If you are working on legacy models that use chassis such as the projection chassis PTV195 or ATC311 you will still need Chipper Check II. If you also work on the newest DLP models using the ATC35x chassis you will also need ChipperCheck Lite.
